Key challenges for employers in 2020 and beyond

Mental health and employee wellbeing, and capability of frontline leaders are the two biggest challenges that employers believe they’ll face in 2020 and beyond.

The results were identified in a survey of attendees at Mapien’s recent Workforce Weetbix breakfast.

Other key issues included attracting labour, overcoming labour shortages in key skill areas and changes to industrial relations laws.

IR laws, the change of Government, labour shortages and mental health were the highest ranked issues 12 months ago.

The issues identified in the latest survey will be addressed in Mapien articles and case studies over the coming months.
