I am passionate about supporting organisations to structure and manage their workforces in a way that is legally compliant, compassionate, productive and so that employee engagement is optimised.
Michelle is an experienced employment lawyer who advises and represents clients in all matters relating to employment, the workplace and industrial relations.

Calm and measured, Michelle’s advice and recommendations are based on best practice and compassion.

Her expertise includes representing and advocating for clients before the Fair Work Commission, the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, and all state and federal Discrimination and Equal Opportunity Commissions.

Working across Industrial Relations, Michelle handles Unfair Dismissal and General Protections applications, underpayment claims, and disputes under enterprise agreements. She provides advice on and drafts employment contracts, independent contractor agreements, and workplace policies. Additionally, she prepares documentation for disciplinary processes, termination of employment, redundancy, and discrimination matters, and facilitates Enterprise Bargaining. Michelle also conducts workplace investigations into allegations of misconduct, discrimination, sexual harassment, and bullying. She advises employers on managing employees with workers’ compensation claims, workplace injuries, and long-term absences due to illness and injury.
