Mapien expands Melbourne operation
- Former Rio Tinto and Peabody Energy executive appointed Principal Consultant
- Alliance partner Insightpay confirmed as co-tenant at new Melbourne office
- Expansion strategy to continue focus on referrals
Momentum continues to build following the rebrand of Livingstones & SHR Group as Mapien earlier this month, with the appointment of Jamie Paterson to the position of Principal Consultant to lead the company’s operations in Victoria and South Australia.
Jamie will commence in the role from early November and be based at our new office in the Melbourne CBD.
He was recruited from Bright People, where he recently consulted to international energy company Vale in Canada, focusing on a major organisation and people change project.
Previously, Jamie has held senior human resource positions with Peabody Energy, Boeing Defence, Rio Tinto, Woolworths and served as a commissioned officer in the Australian Army Artillery Corps.
New CBD office
After several years operating as SHR in Melbourne and sharing office space with Bartlett Workplace Legal, Mapien is excited to announce it has secured its own premises in the CBD.
- New location: Level 7, 10 Queen Street
Situated in an area known as Melbourne’s legal quarter, the office has been recently renovated with a modern commercial fit out.
It is also close to train stations, tramlines and has excellent facilities including cafes, bars and restaurants nearby. The plan is to take possession at the start of November with an aim of being fully operational shortly after.
Alliance partner co-locates
Our new alliance partner Insightpay has been invited to share the office with us, strengthening our network sharing and referral program.
Insightpay is a well-known remuneration and job evaluation specialist. The company provides salary surveys, remuneration planning and program design, and executive and board remuneration advice. It also owns a product known as Jobscore, a practical, easy-to-use job evaluation tool.
Expansion strategy
The next phase of Mapien’s growth is already underway with the goal of growing our client base rapidly from our Melbourne operation within the first 12 months.
