JobKeeper eligibility tests amended

In light of Victoria’s coronavirus lockdown, Treasurer Josh Frydenberg announced on 7 August 2020 that the Government had made adjustments to JobKeeper eligibility by amending the requirements of the business turnover test and employee eligibility.

Worker Permit Scheme in place for Melbourne Workplaces

With stage 4 COVID-19 restrictions now in place, the Victorian Government has announced a Worker Permit Scheme for those employees required to attend the workplace.

JobKeeper modified & extended for 6 months

On 21 July 2020 the Morrison Government announced a 6 month extension to the JobKeeper payment scheme for businesses that continue to be significantly impacted by COVID-19. From 28 September 2020 a modified two tier JobKeeper scheme will be available for eligible businesses (including self employed and not-for-profits). This scheme will continue until 28 March 2021. FWC ANNUAL WAGE REVIEW DECISION 2019 – 2020
